Mentoring Services Agreement

As an honest and reliable small business, we strive to always do our best to be transparent and forthcoming at all times. We aim to provide quality service and look forward to working with you on your upcoming project. Below are the terms that we use to help guide us in making good decisions for both our clients and ourselves. Our door is always open for a conversation.

1. SERVICES

Our standard creative services are pictures (photography), mini-films, branding, web design and signage. We create these services from a strategic and knowledgeable branding & marketing perspective, and often work through with our clients the best way for them to move forward with business growth. Small business advice provided by strategy and/or mentoring sessions are of a general nature, and we encourage our clients to do their homework, and assess whether our products, services and advice are right for them.

2. PAYMENT:

Mentoring Session payments are made in full prior to the session, and may be made via cash, online card payment or bank transfer into the following account:

The mentee agrees to pay prior to any scheduled session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. SCHEDULE

Online mentoring sessions occur at the agreed upon time. Should the session run late due to the Mentee’s failure to be on time, the session time will not be extended past the scheduled time. Late attendance or no-show’s will not be granted a refund.

4. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

If the Mentee needs to cancel a scheduled session, they must provide the Mentor with at least 24 hours notice. If the Mentee cancels with less than 24 hours notice, they may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost of the session.

If the Mentee wished to reschedule their session to another agreed upon date (within 3 months of the original session), no fees will be charged.

If the mentee wishes to cancel their session altogether, and gives the studio 14 days notice prior to their session, they will receive a 100% refund. If the Mentee wishes to cancel their session altogether and gives the studio 5+ days notice, they will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations with less than 5 days notice will be charged 100% of the Session payment.

Please allow up to 30 days for refunds to be paid.

5. CONFIDENTIALITY:

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information exchanged during the mentoring sessions. The Mentor will not disclose any personal information about the Mentee without prior consent.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:

The Mentor retains all rights to any materials provided during mentoring sessions, including but not limited to handouts, templates, feedback notes and digital files. The Mentee may use these materials for personal and non-commercial use only.

7. LIABILITY:

The Mentor will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may result from the use of mentoring services. The Mentee agrees to hold the Mentor harmless for any loss or risk resulting from advice provided during the mentoring services.

9. GENERAL PROVISIONS:

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings. Any amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
